If you are considering taking the next steps towards becoming Catholic, would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, or would like to complete your sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Eucharist, Confirmation) in order to become a confirmation sponsor or godparent, the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is your starting point.
Attendees meet in a casual environment with others who are exploring the Catholic faith to understand more about the basic message of Christ and the mission of His Church. The program begins in the Fall, and meets weekly in the Family Life Center.
The RCIA program is for adults, and is an accessible and welcoming way to take a look at the bigger picture about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Christian story and the Catholic Church. Formed in the foundations of the Catholic faith, beliefs and practices, those who desire to become Catholic are initiated into the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil.
Whether you’re looking to take the next step toward becoming Catholic or you just want to ask more questions about the Catholic faith, RCIA is the place for you. If you have any questions, or would like to register, please contact Theresa Fugardi at the Parish Office.
