The "Stations of the Cross" is perhaps one of the most ancient prayer traditions of the church. The early Christian communities in Jerusalem would walk the way of the cross in remembrance of Jesus sacrifice of salvation. In time this practice spread throughout the church and has been prayed on Fridays, especially during the Lenten Season.
We will offer stations with a variety of themes this Lent. see the schedule below.

Music and Guided Prayer
Come and Rest in God's Love for you.
St. Rose of Lima Parish is again offering this beautiful and powerful prayer service, led by parishioners offering reflections on the last words that Christ spoke from the crose and their meaning in these parishioners lives today.
Selected parishioners will each share a personal reflection, written in response to one of the phrases that Jesus spoke from the cross. With reflective music and hymns sung in between the reflections, this prayer service is a moving witness of faith to our parish. This prayer service is a beautiful way to enter into Holy Week as we reflect more deeply on Christ's passion.
Come and support your fellow parishioners. Come and be moved.
