The groups were divided into those seeking resources (food/money...) and those delivering resources (stores, loan agencies, social services, soup kitchens, police, translators....). Individuals were tasked to find the resources needed to get their families what they needed to survive, before time ran out. Each person differed as to income, expenses, personal abilities and/or challenges.
There was much chaos, running around, frustration, and even theft. In the end, all had a good time and became a bit more aware of and perhaps more sensitive to the very real struggles people on the margins endure as they struggle to gain what they need to survive.
The evening activity was followed by an hour of prayerful music and quiet reflection - Adoration.
