At Baptism we are reborn as sons and daughters of God, baptized in Christ and into a community of faith – the body of Christ. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ, completing what was begun at baptism.
In Confirmation, Christians receive a deepening of baptismal graces needed to grow as mature disciples of Christ in the life of the Church.
The Confirmation preparation program at St. Rose of Lima is open to Juniors in High School. If you have questions or would like to join the Confirmation program please contact Susan McGoldrick, our faith formation director: 508-393-2413
If you’re an adult seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation, one of the other sacraments of initiation, or are thinking about becoming Catholic, we invite you to explore the RCIA - a wonderful and enriching process to become full members of the Catholic Church.
