This past weekend, the St. Rose community celebrated the first of our 2018 First Holy Communions.

These excited children were invited to recieve the 2nd of the three Sacraments of initiation into the Church. The first was baptism and the third, and final Sacrament of initiation, will be Confirmation. 

The community looked on in joyful expectation as each of these children recieved the Eucharist - the source and sumit of our worship, and our faith - for the first time.  May each of these children, empowered by the Spirit,  become that which they consume. May we all allow Christ to transform us - becoming ever more loving, hearts centered on Christ and hands extended out to others in loving compassion.
